FROM ONE MUM TO ANOTHER
Hey there, wonderful mums!
We all know that parenting is an absolute roller coaster of a ride. It’s the most beautiful but exhausting job in the world and if you’re anything like me, you’ll be pretty rubbish at taking care of yourself (I am slowly working on this!)
On this page I aim to share some helpful hints and little gems that I have found along my own journey that have helped me or my little ones in one way or another.
I hope you enjoy! x

Here are some lovely books/podcasts that I have stumbled upon lately.
A lovely little book that is accessible to both kids and adults. Flick to any page and find a practical technique to try when we are feeling anxious, overwhelmed or a bit wobbly. My girls love it and so do I.
The ‘We Don’t Have Time For This” podcast. A must listen for some 'real' parenting chat and a big belly laugh! It’s a goodie if you’re feeling like you need a giggle.
Jessica Urlich is a beautiful author and poet from Christchurch, New Zealand. She writes honest and heartfelt poetry about her family and her journey through motherhood. Her writing really tugs at the heartstrings and also encourages us to reflect on our own journey. Have your tissues ready!

Check out the SWEAT app. I love this app and use it myself. It can suggest programs that suit your goals, how often you want to train and for how long, what equipment you have access to, and it can even schedule your workouts for the week (reducing the mental load for mum's is always a good thing). It has postpartum programs and it's reasonably priced too! A great option for busy mums!
I have been constantly inspired by Gemma Douglas since I stumbled across her Instagram page, The Motherhood Project. She has a tonne of beautiful reflections on motherhood and is incredibly relatable. Now, as a qualified Wim Hof instructor, breath work practitioner, and mindset coach, Gemma lives and breathes wellbeing and is driven to support and empower others on their own wellness journey.
The Herb Farm for beautiful, lush products that nourish the skin and don't cost the earth! I like to spray their Calm Mood Mist over my face before sleep. I also love their Hydrating Overnight Face Mask because you just set and forget, no need to wash it off! Their Soothe and Repair Cream is also another fav - I use it for almost everything!
Shakti mats are one of my daily rituals. I lay on mine every night before I go to sleep. It helps me in so many ways - calms my nervous system, relieves my lower back aches and pains, and it supports my sleep.
